(Gentle Hatha) A well rounded experience that includes very slow movements concentrating on the breath and stress reduction, opening the hips and relaxing the spine. The focus is on long stretches and flexibility, with slow, deep breathing. This can be very soothing for the mind.
(Dynamic Hatha) A classical series of asanas (postures), rhythmic breathing techniques and guided relaxation to promote muscular strength, endurance and the release of physical tension and stress. Some yoga experience necessary.
